Mickey Mouse’s Birthday!!!

I used to love watching Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Pluto and the rest of the gang as a kid.  I still love Mickey’s Christmas Carol.  And I can’t think of a better way to spend my day resting, than watching Disney cartoons.  So Happy Birthday Mickey!

Mickey Mouse’s official debut was in the short film Steamboat Willie, on November 18, 1928.  Since then he has appeared in over 130 films; won an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film and nominated eight other times.  He was the first cartoon character to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  He has his own comic strip, video games, merchandise, and a few television series.  He is arguably the most iconic Disney character ever.
